Delivery and ordering information

The Welfare Hutch Company is committed to providing our customers with the best possible service and therefore we understand when an order is placed, you would like clear and prompt communication and fast delivery. It does however take time to build our hutches as they are all handmade in our workshop here to ensure quality control. We aim to deliver all hutches and runs within four weeks and pipe connector kits within 7 days please contact us before ordering if you need your item sooner.

We deliver all over the UK by courier,  your item will require you to assemble it yourself on delivery. 

Assembly Service Availability (delivery by courier available in all areas)

We have coverage for the assembly service over most of the UK, except the South West (light blue on map) East Anglia(baby blue/grey on map) and Scotland which will continue to be delivered by courier at this point.

Scotland & Scottish Isles

Courier service available to all postcodes excluding the Scottish Isles and the following areas: IV, KW1-14, PA34, PA37-39, PH19-40, PH41 Sector4 & PH49-50

Northern Island

Courier service available to all postcodes. Unfortunately an additional charge will apply. Please contact us for exact pricing.

Isle of Man

Courier service available but usually add an additional day required for delivery. Unfortunately an additional charge will apply. Please contact us for exact pricing.

Channel Islands

Courier service available but usually an additional day required for delivery. Unfortunately an additional charge will apply. Please contact us for exact pricing.

Isles of Scilly

Payment processing


We use PayPal for our payment processing as it provides a very secure financial transaction. You do not need a paypal account in order purchase from our website the payment options allow for card transactions managed by paypal but not requiring an account. PayPal is the largest online payment company and accepts all major credit and debit cards.

For whatever reason, it is sometimes necessary to cancel an order. You may cancel your order with The Welfare Hutch Company at any time prior to delivery.

After we have acknowledged your request to cancel the order, please follow these simple steps to make the process as smooth as possible:

The item should be returned in the condition in which it was received. Should there be any signs of damage or misuse, we will not be able to refund the goods in full.

Please retain the packaging for all items. The goods must be returned in their original wrappings to allow a full refund.

Please note that the item needs to be returned to us at your expense. We may be able to help with collection, but this will need to be pre-arranged and paid up front.

We will refund to you all amounts paid by you for the goods in question, excluding the cost of collection of the goods.Please note that the original delivery costs will not be refunded.

Where the item that you wish to return is one of bespoke manufacture to your own request, we are unfortunately unable to offer a cancellation or refund.
